The Islamic Orphanage Nursery began operating 1994,  The nursery can accommodate 380 children, including infants and young children under the age of 5, with 280 of them in residential care who cannot continue to be cared for in their original families due to orphanhood or family disintegration, and 100 children in day care for working mothers.
